1
Samburu
National Reserve On arrival in Nairobi,
you will be met by your Professional Safari Guide who
will be accompanying you throughout the safari. Commence
the journey by road which will take you through dramatic,
ever-changing terrains. Lunch is a short stopover at
a small restaurant just outside Nanyuki, before the
short drive to Samburu. Overnight Samburu Intrepids

Samburu. Eexplore
Samburu & Buffalo
Springs National Reserve. After lunch and an afternoon
at leisure, take an evening game drive before returning
to camp for dinner The river here is the arterial lifeline
for many endemic species including Reticulated Giraffe,
Grevy’s Zebra and oryx. Overnight Samburu Intrepid

3
Laikipia.
Depart from camp early in the morning with a picnic
lunch, for a 5 hour drive through dramatic semi-desert countryside,
arriving at Sabuk, on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Relax,
maybe swim in the river or just enjoy the uninterrupted view
across the laikipia Plains. Enjoy an early evening bush
sundowner or a short walk from camp, watching the sun set behind
the hills.
The elusive Greater Kudu and large elephant herds can be seen
on the walks.

4
Laikipia. Set
off in the cool early morning for a morning’s walk
or ride with camels. Led by a professional safari guide
and his team of trained Laikipiak Masai, the walk takes
you across the hills with glimpses of the Ewaso Nyiro river.
Brunch is under the acacia trees. Take an afternoon swim
in a natural rock pool. Return to Sabuk for campfire sundowners
and dinner.

5
Laikipia. The
day will be spent walking with and or riding a camel assisted
safari. Your guide and professional crew of Samburu
warriors will accompany you and set up a fly camp for 1
night along the dramatic gorges of the tumbling Ewaso Nyiro
river. The trek is easy and great for inquisitive
people wishing to learn about bushcraft and its natural
inhabitants at close quarters.

6
Nakuru. Returning
back to the Sabuk Lodge just after sunrise and after a
hearty breakfast depart and drive down past the escarpments
and acxross to the Rift Valley, arriving at Lion Hill in
time for lunch.
World famous for its millions of shimmering pink flamingos;
Lake Nakuru is an ornithologists mecca. flotillas of
pelicans swimming by, hundreds of storks, herons and egrets
add to this natural menagerie of colour. The park is
also one of the few reserves left where one can see both
Black and White rhinos in the wild.
Together with lurking lions, giraffes, and leopards, Lake Nakuru
provides excellent game viewing amongst the yellow-barked acacia
forests.

Masai
Mara. After an early start from Lion
Hill, drop down the Rift to the Masai Mara, arriving
in camp for lunch. Elephant Pepper seasonal
tented Mara camp is on a specially chosen site, away
from the busy tourist circuit. This charming camp offers
you the traditional safari experience in one of Kenya’s
most famous wildlife havens.

Masai
Mara. Enjoy the spectacular game viewing
experience with full days exploring this vast reserve.
Game drives, bush breakfasts, sundowners and bush walks
makes this an unforgettable safari.

Departure. Transfer
to Musiara airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi.

international flights including all meals meals, game viewing
